I ordered 250 business cards for a client today, and I went to UPrinting for the printing. I don’t have the cards yet, but I’m pretty happy with what I’ve seen from UPrinting so far. They gave me a free proof, and the price was decent. Also, it was pretty easy to order online… they’ve got a good website.

I’ll let you know how they turned out, including a picture of the cards when I get them, and I’ll say whether or not I recommend UPrinting at that time.

UPDATE

Okay, I got the cards a while back (it took about a week to arrive… I just forgot to update this haha). They looked perfect to my eyes, and they were very good quality both in print and card stock. I tried taking a picture of the card, but my camera is terrible, so it didn’t turn out too well. I’ll try to remember to take a picture of the card in the future, and then upload it, but until then, I guess you’ll have to go on my word that the cards turned out just like what I sent in. I would recommend UPrinting to anyone wanting business cards.

About David Cox

I started Aevion in the summer of 2009 to display my artworks and get feedback from the graphic design community. Because of this exposure, I have begun earning money for doing what I love... by creating art, and writing photoshop tutorials after (the money part). I hope that Aevion will continue to grow in the years to come.

Nothing against uprinting, but gotprint.com is the sh!t. Fast service, lower prices, superior quality, and the customer service is on point. I really recommend experimenting with the Spot UV Cards. I can send you some samples or you can request a sample kit from them. Keep me updated on the cards you get from uprint because I have thought about doing some stuff from them, but their prices can’t compare. Also, if you have a sales tax license for graphic design then you can get a broker’s account with gotprint and get even better deals. Thanks for the post. Cool site.

This is the second good review I’ve read about UPrinting. I guess they realy do provide good service then. It’s a shame you couldnt post the picture of the card. Would have loved to see it!

Nice composition and color scheme. What’s the card stock? Is it textured? Is that the front and back?

Thank you for your compliment.

The card stock was 14pt gloss. It wasn't textured, but I wanted to give it the appearance of having a gritty texture do to the nature of the business. The back was the same color and texture, but without the text (so plain, black texture).
